Celebrate a slice of African American history with local author and UW-Madison School of Library and Information Studies Professor Ethelene Whitmire as she shares her biography of Regina Anderson Andrews. Regina Andrews was the first African American to head a branch of the New York Public Library. Whitmire's new biography offers the first full-length study of Andrews' activism and pioneering work with the NYPL. Want to learn more?
