Sarah Kortemeier is the recipient of the Felix Pollak Prize in Poetry for her debut collection, Ganbatte (University of Wisconsin Press, 2019). She currently serves as Library Director at The University of Arizona Poetry Center, and she lives in Tucson with her husband, two rescue dogs, and lots of light.
