The Wisconsin Book Festival, brought to you by the Wisconsin Humanities Council, celebrates our most cherished freedoms: to read, write, and publish what we wish. The Wisconsin Book Festival underscores the importance of a free, open literary culture to the survival of any democracy. And thanks to our generous sponsors, all Festival events are absolutely free.
Our events, however, are not free to produce. We rely on support from public and private agencies and foundations, and on the countless and often modest donations from individuals who have seen firsthand the great moments and widespread reach of Wisconsin Book Festival events.
