Love Wisconsin

Love Wisconsin is a storytelling project all about the people of Wisconsin. Launched online in 2015, the project captured attention by telling first-person, real-life stories, and publishing them right where people hang out: on social media. As the stories were shared, the audience grew. Love Wisconsin: Stories From The Place We Call Home is a hard-cover, photo forward book containing over 80 of the inspiring voices featured in the project.

Megan Monday

Megan Monday

Megan Monday has been writing stories since the time she produced her own kid newspaper and sold it up and down her street. (10 cents a copy! Her grandfather was a newspaperman.) Megan got interested in photography as a teenager, and her combined love of written stories and images followed her to art school, and then on to graduate school. Megan has worked as a media producer, teacher, and artist, and her work has screened nationally on PBS and in film festivals.

Megan moved to Wisconsin in the summer of 2008, where she promptly fell in love with the community gardens, glittering lakes, and Driftless hills. Her favorite parts of producing Love Wisconsin stories are the insights that happen during interviews with storytellers and getting to reminisce on all the smiling faces while she’s editing photos back in the studio. Megan lives with her partner and son in Madison.
