Mary Pedley is the Assistant Map Curator at the William L. Clements Library, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is also Associate Editor of Imago Mundi: the International Journal for the History of Cartography. She has written three books related to mapping in the eighteenth century, including The Commerce of Cartography: Making and Marketing Maps in Eighteenth Century France and England (University of Chicago Press, 2005).
